It may be the case that there will be a need to devise a new scouting religious award rather than to attempt to administer the existing On My Honor Award program. For our purposes here we will refer to this as the Liahona Award. The requirements for this new award could closely follow the existing requirements. A supply of such awards could be secured from various sources.
This award approach solves several problems:
- Provides a general youth and adult religious recognition that can be used by all restorationists faith communities world wide.
- The supply would be independent of the existing supply of On My Honor Awards
- The award solves the
spelling problemof the word honor (honour) and the name is language neutral.
